Only rule is you can't spend more then 1/4 on one project, person or idea.

So like for me it would be 1/4 on the outside of the house and around the gardens.
Build a deck out of artificial wood so no more staining. As well as build a 3 season room the whole back of house.
Redo all of DH's gardens with cement blocks, native grasses or such for borders.
Tear down his so called shed and build him a proper shed with 2 floors, cement floor and plenty of storage and space for all his tools and garden stuff.

Clean out barn, take down stalls, and cement both sections to make a decent floor as well as set up storage rooms for each member of family so their things are all properly stored. Then put in a bathroom, and make the larger area for garage sales, meet ups or whatever we want it for.

1/4 to go to charities as well as get son a new car, take DH on a dream vacation, get DIL a small space in a rented business park and set up a studio for her to paint and sell her artwork. Plus get DD a condo and moved out. dollchitchat/smilie_bauch.gif

1/4 for inside of house. New windows, doors, paint most of the rooms, new curtains, new flooring, new washer & dryer, finish the utlity room finally and turn DD old room into room for DH to do what he wants.

Leaving 1/4 to spend on my dolls, get my room the way I want it as well as save some for trips to big BJD conventions.

Now lets see how you spend this much money.

That's about £500,000 then, divided by four gives £125K per project....

£125K - pay £100K off our huge mortgage off taking the pressure off my hubby and the remaining £25K finishing off doing up the house
£125K - give to our son in trust to help him with his future
£125K - this would be holiday money, would buy a campervan and a narrowboat for future holidays
£125K - divided by three, for spending my hubby, son and me - giving me just over £40K to spend on dollies, bears, etc etc etc

well, i would spend £125K on my parents, i would give them that, to pay off the mortgage, and take away money worries.
£125K i would buy myself a flat.
£125K i would spend on myself, i.e clothes, dolls, kits etc.
and the other £125K i would spend on going away, i would travel, definately go back to New York and i would take Aidan back to Tokoyo, and take my grandparents away, probably to Germany to see my uncle..
WOW i could do soo much with that lot of money! lol dollchitchat/AddEmoticons1093.gif xx

I'd like to give something to the community that's soo badly needed.
I would spend the money buying the plot of land down the hill from us and re-developing it into outlet shops, cafes,a pub, information centre and carpark.
It has a large old factory(not unattractive) which i'd love to gut to a shell, make it structurely sound and then make it 3 floors.
The ground floor would have restaurents, cafes and toilets.
First floor would have ladies, mens and childrens fashions and the second floor would be home, gifts, craft and of course a doll shop.
Outside behind the building i'd make small garden for insects and birds which the cafes can open out onto.To the side of the building i'd put in a family friendly pub and the rest would be carpark.
There is a small empty house which is on the land which i would use an information outlet for info on the town and surrounding areas and businesses could advertist there along with people who want to advertise local events etc.
Even though i'd spend it all on the place a quarter would go to each thing.
See i dream alot about this everytime i go past it.

Those were all very nice to help others not just in your own family but help your town as well.

Wouldn't it be great if one of us could really win so much money, it seems we could all do some good with. I thinkl People in charge of countries need to see these, then maybe we could show them how to do it right!
