Lovely thoughts Maryjo thank you for sharing I have a tear in my eye I reflect many a time on how lucky I am especially when I visit our local Hospice as so often I do and see the work that goes on there and the caring given I have much to be thankful for this time last year my DH was in the hospice not expecting to come out but yet something wonderful happened and even though he is stil very ill a year further on I still have my soul mate here with me. God bless you all dear DCC friends where would I have been without you all in my dark days.

Yes it's lovely to sit and take stock and enjoy what we have, there are so many blessings in everyday life. I can just picture Jen singing and your hubby winking through the window, those moments are more precious than gold!!

It's so lovely to do simple things like enjoy TV with our loved ones and have the fire on so it's all cozy, I love it but one of the nicest things is sharing our lives with DCC friends, I love threads like this.

I was just reading all the coments from everyone and I must say we really are very lucky to have met so many lovely ladies here. I know we dont get to see each other face to face very often and sometimes not at all but I really feel a closeness to you all. We all have our own lives with its ups and downs, happy times and sad but we are also very lucky we share a different kind of family too, this one made up of all of you and for that I think myself blessed best wishes for 2008 to you all and thank you for your friendship.
