I am sat here with a rare moment alone, Jen is singing 'Silent Night' in her playroom , Hubby is putting up Christmas decorations outside and knocked on the window, gave me a huge smile and winked
The fire is glowing and Toki is playing with Merete by the Christmas tree. I have no 'face to face' friends but many wonderful DCC friends
My elderly Mum is still with us at 87, my sister has survived breast cancer and tumours. I can walk and talk, hear and see my beautiful family, I am so grateful for all I have and 'Thank' God, everyday for my blessings.

I am smiling to the point of tears here Maryjo. YES....you get it , as do many many many on this board and I think that is a very wonderful thing.

SO many people I see in daily life just go around grouchy all day because they hate their jobs and they want the next new thing on the shelves! At least they HAVE jobs, a house and a long list of possessions.

To me, health is much more important than wealth. My hubby KNOWS that i married him due to love, as it was CERTAINLY not for his money! hee hee There is always a way to get by, and I never for a moment regret a single instance of my adult life! Life is good!

The country is NOT in a depression, we are not living out of cars or cardboard boxes like in the 20s and there is food on the table....even in the barest of months. We should all be as appreciative as you Maryjo....thanks for sharing your spirit with us!

Thank you Janet and Jodi , sometimes amongst all the stress of life, a quiet moment will come upon us and we can step back and view things in perspective and realise that no matter how tough things can be, we still have so much to be thankful for.
