OOOO cool a bear competition!!!

Here's mine..loved and adored by me since I FIRST clapped eyes on him and worked fingers to the bone to get him from a collectors shop...he's a steiff I call PIPKIN - he reminds me of an Old Vintage style bear and he is super cuddly-but firm with the most expressive face!!

I am a little Australian lady bear called Millie by Teddy & Friends, and my human mum Karen fell in love with me in a shop at Casino, Australia, because I was so pretty in my smocked dress and with a rose in my hair, oooooh!!!!

However, after thorough considerations, she ended up leaving me in the shop without buying me, and I cried because I wanted so badly to go with her to Denmark!!! Shortly after, mummy's dear friend Sarah (Bryant) came back without mummy and bought me as a farewell present to mummy Karen, so when she unwrapped me on the morning that she was leaving, she couldn't help laughing when she saw me, and gave me a kiss and Sarah a big hug or two or three, ha-ha!!!!

Now, I am being taken care of by a wonderful baby Cherish Christina, who loves me very much too - so I am a very well-loved little lady bear, I can tell you!!!! Here I am:

My fave bear of all times was the one I got on my third bday and carried with me through college! (by then it was in pieces in a tin!!!! ) I dont have any pics.....you are lucky! ha

This is my favourite bear....Misty.... I bought him in a lovely place called The Blue Mountain Mist, in the Smoky Mountains where we stayed while on hols in Tennessee!!

I am only too happy to have another chance to post my favourite bear - my lovely Bruno by our own Maryjo

He has the sof-*test*-('") mohair and is really sturdy to cuddle.

i couldnot decide my favorite sorry picture overload ..
first is jimmy or rather his full name jimmy bear jingle hes a large merrythought cheeky bear i had him for my 5th birthday but i was only short and hes a big boy hence whypads of feet are worn away i dragged him by his ear everywhere...


next is scruffy my mum bought him from a jumble sale when i was tiny

finally teddy edward i dont know where he came from but hes been here forever i bought him a highchair from ebay last week now he has a chair to call his own

I have had him for over 12years, and he is still cute.

I have two favorite bears. One is particularly close to my heart.

His name is Sage, and he is a "Greatful Dead" bear. (The Greatful Dead is a band, for any of you who don't know about them :)) He was a very special gift to me. It's kind of a long story, A very very good friend of mine collected Greatful Dead bears, and had them all over his room. I swear he probably had one of every color made! When I was 16, he took his own life. (He was 17) About a month or so after he passed on, I saw his brother at the mall, and he asked me for my address, saying he had wanted to keep in contact with me, but had never really gotten my address or phone number. Later that day, my doorbell rang, and there he was, with my favorite bear of Derek's. He said Derek would've wanted me to have him. He now sits on a special shelf, overlooking my room, with Derek's obituary, a "we miss you" thing we sent into the paper for him, and a picture in a frame of Derek and I, dressed up on halloween.





My other favorite is my new addition, Jubilee. He is my first Russ bear, and I absolutely love him!! I haven't taken any pictures of him alone, only with Kaim so far, so I hope these pictures count too :)

My favorite bear is now 46 & lives in the loft...no photos of him even & im not brave enough to go up there & find him.

So looking through my photos this is the only bear bear I could find:



This is my dog Reggie when he was a tiny puppy, wearing an Anne Geddes bunny suit we thought he looked hilarious in it, as soon as we removed it, he took the suit out into the garden and ripped it to pieces, I guess he wasnt impressed with his fancy dress!

I dont mind if the photo doesnt qualify for the con-*test*-('")...its not a bear in the true sense, but thought I would share Reggie with you!
