I just popped in to say my goodbyes as I am leaving sunny France for Wales soon.

It's been great staying here but I must go and see Wales (again).

I can't wait for Leean to arrive!! I've got plenty of drinks in ready. Unfortunately Wales is NOT very sunny at the moment Hopefully it will change soon. I hope Leean doesn't find it too dull here after all her adventures in Paris. But there is a welcome in the hillsides waiting for her.

Ooohhh , Lynette, I hope this weather changes soon!! I don't know where to take this little guest if it keeps on raining. I'll have to put my thinking cap on. If you've got any suggestions (careful now!!) I'd appreciate them. My grandchildren are sooo excited she is coming her - she'll have a great welcome if nothing else. As I said I've bought in a load of booze. I didn't quite know what she likes so I got a bit of everything.

Don't worry about not taking her anywhere Colleen as long as you've got booze she's happy Otherwise what about the cinema or the National Botanical Gardens (that's under cover) or even a trip around Ammanford? one of your grandkids could carry her if you feel embarrassed. Leeann has arrived today She is gorgeous!! She's made herself at home already. The first thing she wanted to see was the drinks cabinet. I think she's quite okay with that. Gave her a guided tour of the house - which didn't take long!!
Is it me or has anyone had the same reaction with Leeann as I'm having? I'm sixty but I feel like a six year old - I'm changing her clothes, posing her in different positions, wondering what photos to take of her, etc.
Lynette, thank you for your suggestions of outings. I think the weather is starting to improve which is great.
And thank you, Minnie, so much for your lovely gift.
I've got to go now to charge my camera batteries.
We'll be in touch with you all soon. Speaking of which do I show all her pictures at the end of her stay or during?

Hi Colleen - SO glad Leeann arrived safely and did not have too many tipples on the plane over!

Hope you liked her new wardrobe of clothes I made for her especially?

The gift is for you - you buy a small inexpensive present, like a fridge magnet or key ring - and include it when you post her off to her next destination - it's a momento of where she has been last and so I thought a French Frog magnet would be ideal.

I took pictures as I prepared each photo story - it's best to photograph her I think as you go along, that way you keep the ladies on here happy with what Leeann is up to etc.

I too was like a big kid when she arrived and could not stop sewing for her and re-dressing her etc.

Good luck with Leean and keep her out of the cabinet if you can! lol.

Sylvia.........could I get back on the list for a second go? I was one of the very first to have Leann, but we miss her here in the states. maybe i could show her more stuff this time (she seemed bored with the civil war stuff! hmmm...nowe I know why! haha)
