It's been raining off and on here and Howl asked once the last storm passed could he please eat his lunch outside. That young man loves the outdoors!
Me: Sure! here is a lunch I packed just in case you wanted to eat outside.
Howl: Thanks Momma Marie I just feel better without walls around me.


So he sat outside on his special two seater.


Howl: Now this is nice. Cool fall weather, enjoying the flowers, the fall colors, the birds singing.


Bird: Tweet!


Howl: Well hello there little fellow have you come to sing for some of my lunch? I am willing to share this with you.


Bird: Man That is AWFUL!! What are you some kind of health food nut now?


Howl: Marcus??? Is that You??


Bird: Yeah it's me, I couldn't fit through the portal between our world and this one in my normal form so turned into a bird and popped right in! I'll tell you this flying thing is pretty cool, but cats can be scary!


Howl: You better watch it Momma Marie has a cat, but lucky for you he wears a bell. What are you doing here?


Bird/Marcus: Your father is on a royal rampage trying to find out where you went. I had a feeling when I sensed you using your magic so I followed it to the one portal outside the kingdom and here I am.

Howl: What is he upset about now? The fact he turned his back on his people or that he is allowing the ogres to over run the kingdom?


Bird/Marcus: Hey he's tried to get them to leave us alone, but they do out number us. They are ugly things and smell bad, but for some reason they breed like rabbits. Anyway if you have any bright ideas how we can get rid of them I am willing to share that with the king and maybe pretend I don't know where you are.


Howl: They may out number us but I am surprised my own father doesn't realize we are smarter. The rains are coming and ogres hate rain, like they smell any better dry then wet! Anyway he waits until they are all asleep because that is what they do when it rains, gathers 4 other powerful wizards, all 5 of them stand in a star pattern, and chant the incantation. The ogres will then be transported to anywhere they put in the incantation. I suggest Nothing Island.



Bird/Marcus: Why there?



Howl: Because it's surrounded by water which ogres hate, so they can't leave and yet they can grow crops, hunt and live their lives out without harming anyone ever again. Don't think he should use the Wizard Thomas as I know he was the one who changed that Elf baby into 3 separate girls. I know for a fact they are all safe now, but they all 3 had to move to separate places in the world and can never see their parents again.


Bird/Marcus: I will go tell your father the idea, and I promise never to tell him where you are or that I even found you.


Howl: You better not Mischief!


Bird/Marcus: Don't use my middle name, Jane!


Howl: You know that is not my middle name.

Bird/Marcus: That's not what Wizard Thadeus says!
Howl: You Mean Ruth?


Bird/Marcus: He says his middle name is Robert!
Howl: And you believe him? It's Ruth his dad lost a bet and so Thadeus got an old Aunt's name as his middle name, I should know I was at his Christening!


Bird/Marcus: But he's 300 years old!
Howl: So!



Bird/Marcus: Okay I am leaving and I do hope for your sake this works.
Howl: It will work, and don't come again I like my life here and I don't need you messing things up for me.


So what do you guys think? Sorry about the repeats on pics, but afraid of more rain and well it will be better.

Wow that's fantastic!!! I knew all along that Howl was something special!! I love his pal arriving as a bird, how cool is that!! It looks like Howl can sort his world out in one esay step so maybe he'd better start sorting Earth out LOL!!

I didn't actually notice that you repeated pics Marie lol was to engrossed in the story XD
So Howl is from where the three girls were from, and he has powers too, looks like he's a man of mystery XD I love the little bird Marcus it's a shame he has to go away, I hope that Howl gets to stay with you though he seems to really like it there. Hopefully Marcus will keep quiet and Howl can live in peace happily ^^

Oh I assure you ladies Marcus will return, his middle name is Mischief so you can be sure he will return. After all we need to hear if Howl's plan for the getting the ogres gone works. Also he isn't one to leave Howl alone, didn't when they were kids either as I hope to show as well.

Marcus pops in every once in awhile, but I only know because after he visits Howl is a bit flustered and is in his secret wardrobe mixing stuff. One day will catch him at it. But he likes his privacy. I also hear from a certain bird we might have one more move in very soon. Something tells me it's because of Marcus she will be here.
