Hiya,
I was wondering whether anyone lived in japan and was willing to do me a favour with regards to Yahoo Japan? I have found a doll that I really would like (have been looking for for ages) but cant buy it as they dont ship elsewhere. So, I was hoping that someone kind would bid on the auction for me and have it shipped to them in japan and then ship it out to me? I will pay for the item and the shipping to you and also the shipping back to me and a little more as thanks.
Thank you so much,
Hugs,
Bev xx

PS, just for trust, I will pay a good amount down before asking you to bid as it would only seem fair and the remaining amount as soon as the final value is known.

Its an unoa sist 1.5, usually the prices are so inflated buying them second hand that its not worth it but on YJ! you can get them for affordable prices usually, and I have been yearning for one for so long!!
its just so heartwrenching that they dont ship overseas :( So I have got to keep fingers crossed that someone loves me lol ^_^

Thanks Jen ^_^

hugs,
Bev xx

I would LOVE to bid for you, Bev, BUT you have to put your credit card on file with them to purchase items over $50 which I'm not willing to do because I don't use it enough. I am a member but haven't bought anything for ages.

Another consideration is that usually payments are due within three business days and need to be sent via bank transfer. Paypal payments take a week to withdraw, so a wire transfer (which would cost 4000 yen for me to receive plus whatever your bank charges you to send it) really increases the total and isn't really cost efficient.

I did a quick Internet search for shopping services, however, and found this informative blog post:

http://blog.vertebratesilence.com/2006/10/...tside-of-japan/

These shopping services seem hit and miss but there are a few good ones. They would probably be your best option. BUT if you need items from Volks and want me to go to the store I would be more than happy to help you out. I can easily get to a Volks shop from where I live. Again, though, any FCS dolls would require a wire transfer since I don't deal with Paypal unless the items total is less than $100. This option is available for all DCC members who have posted a lot and includes wigs, cleaning products, brushes, outfits (that are sold in the actual stores and not only at Dolpa) and any "standard" items including dolls or FCS dolls. Please note, though, that an FCS doll takes up to three months to create and shipping is about $50 via EMS. The next time I go to Volks I will post in the BJD section. dollchitchat/323.gif
