Sue - thank you very much, for your sweet comments on my house and people, they mean an awful lot to me, my dear friend!!! yes, I think that the doctor has reduced his "medicine" drinking quite a bit after he got a new wife, ha-ha!!!! Please don't feel guilty, hun - I bet he had become addicted to whiskey without your help, ha-ha!!!! And yes I know very well that he claims that it is medicine that he has got in his bottle, but I think I can smell something else but medicine, ha-ha!!!!!

Karen it amazes me how many things you and the other ladies put into their doll houses, but it talks to you about the character and time period, just amazing detail and work.

Veronica - you are most welcome, hun - I shall take some pictures once I have made the outdoor part, and made some signs for my shops (the pharmacie and the bridal shop)! I am considering starting on the outdoor portion of my first dollhouse pretending to be from 1912. Now the houses have been put into my new dolly room, which is still waiting for the carpenter to do the cupboard for me, grhhhh!!!

Also thank you for your sweet comments, my dear friend!!! I try to find some magazines from the period that I want to show - I have just won some English newspapers from WW2 and I have bought a wireless radio from that period too - plus I am still on the hunt for more things from that period! Sometimes I remove a piece of furniture if I find something better from that period and use it somewhere else! That is the fun part of having a doll house that is to try to find the right parts and Avril and Sue (Frodo's mum) are much better at that than I am!!! So I was really really happy that Avril sold this wonderful family to me - it fits perfectly into my time and my house - and I love them all!!!!!
