Hi i hope this is the right place to put this but i have a ashton drake emily and she has been reborned but not good at all i would like to get her redone but some one said that you cannot take her paint off please can anyone help me Hugs Dishaz xxx

Hi Dishaz, I am not sure if this will help you or not but I use Acetone. I am new to reborning but have used Acetone to remove paint from baby dolls that have factory paint on them and it has taken the paint off. It might work on your AD Doll. I bought it from the Chemist, but you need to ask for it and explain what it is for as I had to when I bought mine. Hope this helps, if not I am sure someone else will be able to help.

ok , some people do use acetone , but its generally not recommended , it can leave the doll shiny , and interfere with the vinyl so the new paint wont adhere properly.especially on the s/v mix like the AD dolls.
non acetone remover is a safer bet , if its genesis you need to remove, then try very fine grade wet'n'dry paper . works a treat , but be very gentle so as to not scratch the vinyl .
graffiti wipes also work , but work mega fast , and wash off immediately with detergent
