Would anyone be interested in buying this Victorian shop? I am only selling it as I'm fast running out of space. It is an unfinished project which is how I bought it but I haven't really got enough time to get it finished with all the projects I have on the go. It has a great frontage I think and I love the little balcony above the shop window! The shop includes the skirting boards in each room and coving. The rooms are decorated and there is flooring to the shop area and some rooms. One ceiling will need repapering or painting where someone has taken lights out of it. I have done some work on it, mostly on the outside which has been cladded with a brick effect fibreglass sheet but there is still some work to do to bring it up to scratch. It is a nice sized, sturdy property over three floors (large attic in the roof area.) and even includes the shop counter and shelving! It is made by the Honeychurch dollshouse company which has now ceased trading I think but you can still see some details of the size etc on their website here:

Here are some pictures of the shop I have to sell:

I was thinking about £85 but I am open to offers so don't worry about making me one...? Paypal or cheque accepted...
I can deliver within a certain distance or perhaps meet somewhere...?
I think postage would be about £20 but don't fancy packaging it all up...please email/pm me if you have any questions.

Kath that is a great shop. I recognise the design from my dollshouse days. I would dearly love a dollshouse again if only I had the space. This would fit the bill perfectly, I could knit lots of babywear to sell in the shop. I torture myself don't I?
I am even seriously contemplating going to Minatura at the end of the month.
Anyone else going?
Good luck with finding a seller, wish it could have been me.
Gill

Hi Kath, Is there any lighting in the shop? biggrin.gif

kath- 09-06-2007
No Jean there isn't any lighting in it. The previous owner must have taken them out! There are a few ceiling roses and the holes etc ready to take the lights though. dollchitchat/Love-Bear.gif

I think you should keep it Kath and do it up... it will look fab when finished dollchitchat/Love-Bear.gif

I'd love to buy it as I want to do a shop next but the OH says I need to finish my half done projects first unsure.gif

Good luck, Kath. That's a lovely little dollshouse! Whereabouts do you live, in case someone wanted to get it? (Not me, unfortunately, I don't have a clue about dollshouses ~ or have the room!). biggrin.gif

Gill- 09-06-2007
Please someone buy this before I weaken and get in serious trouble with Ian.

biggrin.gif I have so much on the go at the moment I shouldn't have bought this shop in the first place really laugh.gif I am such an impulse buyer and then don't have the time to do everything I want to do - I never seem to learn!
I live in York North Yorks if that helps anyone....? unsure.gif dollchitchat/198.gif

kayjay- 09-06-2007
I'm exactly the same, Kath - I think it would take me about 5 years to complete all my projects if I worked on them everyday biggrin.gif My first instinct was to buy your house as I really want to do a shop but then thought, actually I have five incomplete dollshouses, one beach hut and numerous sewing, tapestry, cross stitch and knitting projects all half done unsure.gif

Are you going to the dollshouse fair in York in November? I'm going to go and the OH will do some Christmas shopping dollchitchat/141.gif

Hi Kathryn - it's good to know that there are other people that keep 'half finishing' things biggrin.gif I blame our 'creative' brains which are so active dollchitchat/33.gif I will be at the Dollshouse fair in York - yes! It's usually very good x dollchitchat/941.gif
