Hi Everyone,

I was struggling to put tights on to one of my Masterpiece silicone vinyl babies last night and wondered if anyone has a tip for easy dressing please? I find the clothes "stick" to the vinyl and make it a real struggle - it brings back memories of trying to dress my real wriggling babies when they were little!

Hi,

I have a Masterpiece doll and I put some babypowder on her limbs.
I use a big brush to put the powder on, it helps with the stickyness and it smells nice.

Hi Geja,

Thank you for that - it doesn't damage the vinyl then?

Hi,

No, I don't think it will damage the vinyl.
Just think of what reborners do to these dolls.
They use nailpolishremover to strip them and they bake them if they use genesis paints.
So a little babypowder should be allright.
I have this doll for a few years and nothing has happened to her limbs after using babypowder.
I don't use the powder very often.

Hi Geja!

Thank you. I shall definitely try it - it's getting cooler and they all need their warm tights!!!
