Any ideas ? I bought a fab babe but this wig has to go in favour of rooting the hair! it has a "clod" of glue on one side and drives me nuts !!! She is so pretty, she is worth the cost of rooting hair, I think! What do you think?

If she doesn't have paint around her hair line I would advise using acetone but be very careful and wash it straight after as it will remove paint and make the vinyl shiney.

Do you mean the glues shows? Can you pick the glue off with a craft knife?

dollchitchat/Christo_pull_hair.gif dollchitchat/Christo_pull_hair.gif I had similar with a doll I got for reborning...the wig will not budge, no matter what I try (acetone included), So I have given it up as a bad job.

I also dicovered that my doll had a hole in her head anyway, so I would have had to re-wig. Shes for sale again now as I cant be bothered trying anymore!

I suppose you could try immersing the head in boiling water to try to soften the gle? But then it may damage the paintwork though...

Sorry, not much help am I?? dollchitchat/AddEmoticons0763.gif

Thank You for all your ideas - I shall try them in turn, in s discreet place - I fear there will be a "plughole" but I will use silicone bath sealent to fill it ... and root well around it ... maybe in it too Charlotte is so pretty a Berenger I bought for the fab faces, expression and eyes to photograph and practice with my cameras - but this wig is AWFUL ...
