My daughters old schoolfriend was expecting a baby in September. She was rushed into hospital at the weekend and delivered a baby girl seven weeks early. Mum is shocked but well and the baby is breathing for herself at the moment and a good size for such a premie 5lb. I wonder could you keep them in your thoughts it is her first baby and much wanted, we all hope she continues to make steady progress and will be home with her mummy and daddy soon. XXX

Hi Gail! Being a Grandma of a Premmie baby girl myself (my daughter had to have a section at 33 weeks as the baby was not growing) and she had my Rebecca who was a tiny 4.5lbs when she was delivered and GORGEOUS!

She is nearly 4yrs old now and is so very, very bright, tiny but as cute as a button!

Please try not to worry, I will pray for them all and I am sure all will be well.

Thank you everyone, Minnie what a gorgeous little treasure you have there, her hair is so beautiful.
Yes the baby is a very good weight I think for seven weeks early ( 5lb ) as my own grandaughter was only 5lb 2oz at 39 weeks. The last news I had is that she was doing well and breathing on her own. xxxx

little but 7 week's is not so bad my baby was 4 week's before her time & was 6lbs she had a few odd's things but was ok wishing you all the best
