Hi,

I have sent an OOAK to the US-States on 8th of September and I kept the new mommy informed what the tracking-number says, when it arrived at the customs.

I was wondering why she still hasn't sent an email, if my OOAK has arrived safe and sound and if everything is fine.

I just saw with the tracking Nr. that it has been delivered successful on 12th of September.

I have sent her an email today and have asked her, if everything is fine. It would be the very first time that a new mommy hasn't sent an email to let me know the package has arrived.

Now I feel VERY bad!! I just read her adress again and saw that she lives in Texas and I hope that she didn't get hit by IKE! Maybe she has no power and I hope and pray nothing worse happened to her!

She lives in Kingwood, does anyone knows if that town got effected by the hurricane??

Oh my, I pray that she is safe and it is just only an internet-problem.

Try not to worry Monika, your OOAK probably wasn't delivered due to the weather conditions and as the situation is so bad out there your buyer probably hasn't got access to your emails. Hope buyer and baby are ok dollchitchat/AddEmoticons10955.gif Lynette

I just have sent her an other email to let her know that I haven't thought she could have been hit by the hurricane. I have sent my prayers out to her and hope she and her family is safe! I'm sure she does have internet problems or just no power.

Monika, try not to worry. She is more than likely still without electricity and/or internet. The Kingwood site says they are hoping to have all the electricity on by the 23rd, and even the schools will be open again until the 25th. I bet she contacts you as soon as she can.

Thank you all so much! I'm sure now that she is still without electricity! We had a wonderful communication in the beginning of transaction, so I don't think there is any bad intention. I feel so bad that I didn't think she lives in the hurricane-area in Texas.

Hi,

a little update,

I still haven't heard back from this lady, but I have checked her feedback on ebay and she has bought some stuff the last weeks, so her power must be back.

I also have seen that the has received a lot of feedback, but she never left feedback for anyone since march 2008.

I hope that everything is fine. It is the very first time that I did not receive any reply, if my OOAK baby has arrived or not and if so, if everything is fine. I always get feedback.

I don't know what to think right now.

I have been so worried because of the hurricane, but she still bought items after the hurricane hit TX on ebay.

I just wrote her an other email, because I really want to know if everything is fine.

Did this happen to anyone of you sculptors that you did not get feedback on ebay for an OOAK or an email to let you know, if the OOAK has arrived, etc.???

She has been very kind after the auction and paid within a couple of days. She has not been late with payment, but has appologized that she was 1 day "late", because of her son's birthday.

I'm having a hard time anyway with other stuff going on in my life, that this just made me very sad! I still thought, she probably still has no internet, but she has bought on ebay last week and I have sent the OOAK on 8th of september, tracking nr said, it has been delivered successful on september the 12th, 1 day before the hurricane hit Texas.

I have sent her 3 emails through ebay, so she must get them, just to make sure everything is fine with the OOAK. OMG, I hope she loves her new OOAK-baby!! dollchitchat/AddEmoticons12628.gif

I also have written in my auction that I always expect to hear back from the buyer when the OOAK has arrived, because I'm always worried when my OOAKS are travelling oversea!

Well I'm not an artist but have sold items on ebay and at present I have three buyers who never gave feedback (since becoming a member in Jan).

No feedback is obviously better than negative feedback...but is in my opinion down to laziness i.e. a can't be bothered attitude dollchitchat/stick.gif

As she hasn't contacted you it is probably safe to assume the OOAK was received undamaged and is pleasing to her (otherwise she'd have been quick to contact you!)

Maybe Monika you'll just have to puy it down to experience and hope future customers have manners?
