veronica...i just couldnt help myself. That was the first thing that popped into my head when i looked at the piccie!

Need cheering up today......been to a funeral this afternoon. Someone i met who had the big "C" and sadly lost their battle last week.

The older i get.....the more funerals i attend. It was at the same place as where my darling Daddy was cremated....so a bit daunting for me. But i needed to go to show respect, to comfort family and to prove to myself that i am able to cope with that side of things.

Hi, dollchitchat/338.gif thanks for all your lovely comments, dollchitchat/vdaybouncies3.gif I am getting so much enjoyment from collecting bits for this house. And because its not very big, I can buy fewer better bits, I love getting handmade ooak items for it so it brings out the character of the home. dollchitchat/AddEmoticons12865.gif I'm am still waiting for a distressed table and chairs I've been promised, but they are still not here, and I'm really looking forward to them arriving. dollchitchat/AddEmoticons07628.gif I am also seeking out a 'different' cooker, something like a 1940's style and a bit battered looking.

And Veronica, I have also taken your comment about the baby in the pram, into account. dollchitchat/323.gif I have now replaced the baby in the pram with a teddy and hung a blanket over the handle so it looks like the baby has just been lifted out. Your right it looks much better dollchitchat/AddEmoticons12865.gif

I've found this site for 40's style stuff, and it's got some great eye candy in customer's gallery
