I've been a bit emotional lately, because of the stress, but then today, I recieved a beautiful email. My best friend sent me new pictures of my Goddaughter. And now I am absolutely beside myself, crying my eyes out. "My baby girl" is growing up, and I'm missing it. For those of you who don't know, Esther and I live about 3 hours apart. It may not sound like much, but my car is a hunk-o-junk, and she has no vehicle.

She's 5 months old now... already trying to walk.... teething.... *sigh* I have never wanted to be somewhere so badly!!!

I just had to vent, sorry if anyone didn't want to hear it.

aww hunni must be really tough can you not get a train or something ? i o hope you work something out and gte to her

She's a live baby doll! No wonder you miss her. and of course your
friend. Sorry you are going through so many changes too.! No wonder
we turn to and obsess about dolls. Hope things get better for you soon.
Didn't you say you also had health problems and that you're really young?
Is it anything serious or will you be able to look forward to a full recovery soon.?

Abi, Thank you. I wish there was a train that could take me! I live in the states, in Wisconsin, and I don't believe there are any passenger trains here? Only ones that move things like coal and objects and such. I have looked up prices for tickets to take a greyhound bus, but they are so expensive!

Kat, Thank you. I am 21, and yes, I am chronically ill. I really can't remember ever being healthy honestly. I have a lot of health problems, but we are still working on trying to sort them all out and try to resolve at least some of them. It's a very slow process though, and it's been a long time coming. Thank you for being so caring :)

Esther and I grew up together, and it's really hard without her. She was always my support when I needed it. Now since Alexa has been born, I have missed her even more.

If you can't see your friend & Goddaughter you're probably keeping in touch in other ways which is good.
I hope you being on a computer means things are cool again with your Dad.

I can understand how you feel, they grow up so quickly,and they are changing all the time, this is where the computer is a god send, it does help to be a part of their lives, can you get a web cam, as this would be even better,

what a shame just three hours away. We moan about this crowded little island the UK but at least we have the National Coaches that do really cheap deals and stations reasonably close even in country areas. I hope you get your health sorted out, if you feel fit everything becomes more manageable.

so sorry to hear of your poorly health and not being close to your MATE is even worse when your feeling low-poorly etc!

Great idea of gettng a webcam ..even if you get a cheapie..pics arent great but then you would at least FEEL like she is closer than actually is!

A webcam is a wonderful idea!

I'm very sorry you live so far away. Three hours is a long way when you don't have a reliable vehicle or reliable transportation that is affordable.

I must dig out my webcam one of these days. I have one, but I'm not really sure where I put it. Esther doesn't get on the computer very much anymore, because Alexa keeps her busy, and she's on the go a lot, but maybe we can figure out a way to do a video chat once and awhile. Thank you for the suggestion.

I am so very greatful for the computer, because I can at least see pictures of her, but at the same time it's very bittersweet, because it makes me want to be there even more. We talk on the phone often, but even that is going to be few and far between now, because of me not going to my dad's often now. (we don't have a home phone at my apartment.)

My dad and I are on speaking terms again, but I will not be over here very often. The way he has treated my property, and has been treating me lately is unexcusable, and I think we need to be apart for awhile. I am dog-sitting here until sunday afternoon, so that's why I've been able to get online.

Linda, I told Esther that I'm going to get Alexa her first "baby" for Christmas. I hope she does become a dolly lover, even if she only tries to chew on her first baby doll hahaha And the picture with her arms crossed, when she was younger, she used to sleep like that always. :)

Thank you for reading my complaining and being a bit of support for me everyone. I am glad that even though I don't have friends locally anymore, I at least have friends here!!

Oh my dear friend - I am so sad and sorry to read that you are a bit down at the moment and that you have so many health problems, poor sweet you, hug, hug!!!!

Your goddaughter is a little beauty and I certainly do understand that you miss her and her mum being your best friend!!!! I think that Janet (Lullaby) gave you a really good advice, namely to get a web cam, as that will make you feel much closer to your loved ones, hun!!!!

I love all the pictures, but the two of you with your little goddaughter and Esther are just extremely lovely - thanks for sharing, hun!!!!

I also hope by all my heart that most of your health problems - preferably all of them - will be solved and send you all my loving thoughts!!!!!
