Finally a new OOAk-baby is born today

Hi,

finally after a long time (since June) I could finish a new baby. This time it is a girl in newbornsize, which I haven't sculpted for a while.

I hope you like her. She took me ages, but her last leg went into the oven today. I took some pics, but the last ones were taken in bad light.

When I started this baby it was supposed to be the baby of my (sculpting) life. I started with beeing motivated and inspired so much and I have to say, I'm really so pleased how she has turned out. It was a nice change to sculpt in newbornsize again after a longer while.

I didn't think a sculptor would have A baby of their sculpting life, I thought it would be the one they enjoyed doing the best and the one they were most happy with. dollchitchat/bigthink.gif

Veronica, when I start a new baby with the best of motivation and inspiration I always say to myself "okay, now I start sculpting the baby of my life", this doesn't mean that the baby would be the best baby I have sculpted ever, it is just starting a new one with the best of positive vibes and energy.

It would be a dream of every sculptor to be 100% satisfied with a just finished baby. There is always something to learn and improve left, I think there can't be a 100% perfection and I would NEVER say this to any of my sculpted babies.

Oh I see, to get a good feeling when sculpting you say "Now to sculpt the baby of my life." So you will do very best. that makes sense, because what ever your feeling could show in the baby. dollchitchat/bigthink.gif
