I wanted to show the progress of my la-*test*-('"). I like showing "in the works" photos so you can see that these are originals (like you cant TELL by looking, hee hee hee) and how they are done.

This one I am doing as a set of TWO paintings. A big one with the full red mill, and then a "baby" painting of the closeup of the wheel (see other pic). I am adapting the combo of two photos for the full mill. I think I overdid the foliage a bit....seems like it is junglish!!!!! Maybe I can soften that up a bit....oops! This is the first coat of paint, it is only about half way done, but wanted you to take a look.

What do you think?

I think I will do a stone bridge or forest bridge next....and then on to a commission painting for Nov. If anyone has anything they wish to commision, let me know and send a pic so i can be honest and say "no way in heck can I do that!" hahahahahaha Just so you know...I stink at people! ha I am more of a nature and scenery kinda gal....but I can try other things too!

i tend to either do it all at once or leave it and not get motivated again for a week or two. POOP...cant seem to go back right yet....maybe next week. I really want to finish this one so I can do the smaller companion piece as i think i will like that one even more!

Thanks for the words of encouragement hon! I LOVE to paint, but I have to be in the right mood (kinda like an author I suppose!)
