Thanks Diana and Becca.. It won't be until October.. But we are going
to have a kind of Christmas/birthday party to celebrate all of our birthdays
at once since we never hardly get together with my oldest son
Erik and his family. It's always about 'her' family. My daughter in law
convinced us how much of a family person she was. I even went
to bat for her when My son was dragging his feet on getting married.
Turns out it was "her' family she was talking about. She had to
buy a house a couple blocks from her parents. They have taken
over my grandchildren.. I had to let go. But then when Ava was
born last year it started really bothering me. I am disabled and can't
fly. It was such a blessing when my daughter who lives near me
got pregnant.last year. She even told me that one of the reasons
she got pregnant was so that I'd have a grandchild to enjoy. Because
the other three are taken...
I know what you mean Diana about them moving away. It's possible
at some point that my daughter might move far away near
her husbands family because her husband wants to go 'home'.
I've had to deal with that. But I decided to just enjoy my grandson
Rocco for however long I can. Afterall who knows what the future
holds. Just have to enjoy today.. I sure do love that baby..
I have lots of pics of both my grandbabies.. as both my daughter
and daughter in law are big picture takers.

I would love
to post pics and show them off. But I'm neurologically challenged
I have M.E. which is a neurological disorder and it's really hard
for me to post pics. But I would love to show you pics and show
them off.My son Aaron whose married and lives close by and my daughter Jessica
both come over at least once a week.. So I'll try and get them to post
pics for me.. They are mighty darling grandbabies if I do say so myself.

They
are also about the same size. even though Ava is a year older
than Rocco!

That's because she's a tiny girl of only about nineteen pounds
at a year and a half.. Rocco is a bruiser. He's only five months
and weighs over nineteen pounds.. Itt's really fun when you live
closeby and get to see how much progress they make just
ifrom one week to the next. It's sure true that grandparents
enjoy and can appreciate the grandbabies more than the parents.
You have age and wisdom, and life experience.. You don't
have the responsiblity for their care or supporting them etc.
I know I was young and restless got married and had babies too young.
ANd was still trying to go to school and juggling everything.
