Well my husband passed away suddenly On Feb 12th, so since then i really haven't been eating properly, but its the only diet that has worked for me in years, i have so much weight to loose.

But in 8 weeks i have lost just over 2 stones, i never used to go near the scales but now they have become an obsession for me.

I've gone down 2 sizes as well, so i treated myself at the weekend to some new Jeans.

Im sorry about the circumstances...but delighted that the weight loss is doing so much good for your self esteem. This must be such a low point in your life dollchitchat/dccy.png

I hope you are getting photos? I have my daughter take a bra & knickers photo of me each week - I can really see the difference in my shape & feel so disgusted at the earlier photos where I was fat-*test*-('"), im hoping it will help me to maintain once I have got to the weight I want to be...

You are doing really well, but you must remember to eat! My sister lost 10 stone when her husband left her, she physically couldnt eat, we made sure that she was drinking the slimfast shakes so that at least she was getting all the vitamins & minerals her body needed, maybe you should try this? (oops, getting a bit bossy now!)

Good luck, dont forget to keep us posted dollchitchat/dccy.png

Ruth I am sorry you have had such sadness. I can imagine myself losing my weight in the same circumstances. as has been said, make sure your drinking and getting your vitamins. slim fast is good but there is also another one for sick people, just keeps them built up. dollchitchat/morevdayb2.gif dollchitchat/bearhugblinkie1.gif

Ruth so sorry about the circumstances you are losing the weight under, but as long as you can keep your nutrition levels good, ie slimfast or complan etc, good luck to you, something good happening out of something tragic.

I'm so sorry about your husband dollchitchat/bearhugblinkie1.gif

Just make sure you are getting your vitamins, iron, etc, maybe take a good multi-vit tablet and look after yourself dollchitchat/bearthrowingkisses.gif
