Also I don't know what kind of horse your friend on the other forum is looking for but they had some 1/12th scale Breyer horses in Wilkinsons last time I went in - not suitable for a gypsy caravan - but if they were doing a stable of something - they would be good and they were very cheap.

Cindy - Thank you very much for your kind comments - but sadly I don't have any "before" piccies - I never bothered taking piccies until a few months after I joined the forum except one of each project to put in my scrapbook - which is quite sad really cos now I too would like to look back on them - still I 've learn't for the next time. I have lovely resin cottages but my favourites are still the ones built from scratch or restoration projects as people call them my "blue peter" projects - using things that normally get thrown away - I think they are the most fun !! My favourite of all time is our "witchy cottage" cos only 1 thing in there was bought everything else was made.

It is the most beautiful caravan I have ever seen. One of my late Aunts was a Romany gypsy and she was born and brought up in a traditional caravan like yours. What an interesting but hard life she had, I used to so enjoy her tales.

That is absolutley gorgeous, you are very clever and have done it so beautifully. I saw a larger one at a model show and pointed it out to hubby, I'd love him to help me restore one, they are so quaint and romantic looking. Congrats its wonderful
