dollchitchat/pompomgirl.gif I've got ten Himmies plus their boxes, although these girls are forever there might become a time when I need to sell them so I'm keeping the shippers just in case! My problem is where do I store them? they take up more room than the girls dollchitchat/Christo_pull_hair.gif dollchitchat/blinkysendingsmiliesandhugs.gif Lynette xx

can you untape the ends? they SHOPULD fold flat at that point and will store away in a basement or attic better!?

Hugs and good luck.

I take mine to pieces, if you remove the inner liners they lay flat.I open the end of the shippers too and they lay flat as well. All my boxes are put back together quite easily when I sell. dollchitchat/pompomgirl.gif dollchitchat/pompomgirl.gif dollchitchat/pompomgirl.gif

My boxes are in the loft. My husband complains that they take up too much room so I'll get him to get them down and I'll collapse them. Great tip.

dollchitchat/pompomgirl.gif Yes, I too flatten mine down after getting completely over run with them and a very crabby hubby about they were filling up every nook and cranny! dollchitchat/stick.gif

I also tied string around them so they stay together-this makes it soo much easier should you need to find the right insides for the outer shipper! Pack them as one for each doll!

Now I have loads of space back and a MUCH Happier hubby! dollchitchat/pompomgirl.gif

I use mine to display the dolls on since I live in a foreign country and don't want to invest in shelves until I settle down:

If I was in a more permanent position with more space, I would build shelves and create a "box space" for flattened boxes within the doll room itself. Up in a closet, for example, or even beneath a covered table. At least that would be my first choice. biggrin.gif

What a novel idea! I love the box "shelves" - they look quite good and handy for showing off your dolls. Great idea!

If you have other collectibles that you keep the boxes and they are smaller, you can also store boxes in boxes which is what we do. dollchitchat/ange4.gif

Hi--

I have also used the boxes as shelving. I seal them in plastic first, so that I don't smell the cardboard. Then, I put sheets or fabric over them like you see in the other photos.

What is nice is, the boxes will put your dolls more at eye level. This is GREAT!
