Please help me! I'd love to get one but I'd like to know a bit about them first...can anyone help please???

What kind of Vinyl are they made from - I'm assuming it is vinyl?
How big are the majority of them or do sizes vary?
What kind of price would be reasonable for a secondary market doll???
Are they fully jointed? Please explain!!!

THE HIMMIES DO VARY IN SIZE ....
NOT ALL ARE FULLY JOINTED , BUT THEY ALL CAN MOVE THEIR HEADS / ARMS/LEGS.
THEY ARE MADE OF A HARD VINYL ..
THEY HAVE WIGS , MOSTLY MADE WITH REAL HUMAN HAIR IN A VARITY OF COLOURS .
SOME HAVE THE SAME FACES ,BUT DIFFERENT NAMES ...SO WATCH OUT FOR THIS.
YOU MUST KEEP THEM OUT OF THE BRIGHT LIGHTS / AND SUN,AS THIS CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE THE EYES ...
WHEN YOU DO GET ONE ...YOU SHOULD REALLY KEEP THE SHIPPING BOX ( THE OUTTER BOX) AND THE DOLLS BOX AND CLOTHES AND CERTIFICATE , AS WITHOUT THESE THE PRICES WILL DROP CONSIDERABLY ....

Yes they are made from good quality vinyl.

2.How big are the majority of them or do sizes vary?
The sizes vary anything from 28inches to 40inches.Annalisa and Evimike were 4ft.

3.What kind of price would be reasonable for a secondary market doll?
It depends on the doll.Some of the really popular dolls such as Ai Lien,Ilai those still command higher prices probably more than the original price.Where as some of the less popular ones might go for a bargain.

4.Are they fully jointed? Please explain!
The fully jointed ones are the club ones and summer kinder dolls.They have neck,elbow,head,upper arm and knee joints and some have the new waist joint.
The other dolls will have head and upper arm joints still making them poseable.

You're best bet is to look at the AH website at all the gorgeous pics and click on Doll Archive to look at previous years collections.

An Indian girl, I've seen her...think her name is Dernea....I love the native Indians and all sorts of things like that....I think they are beautiful....I love everything about them.

Not sure but she might be around £500-£600 on Ebay for example.You might find some shops in Germany still sell her.
I can't remember how much i sold mine for probably less.

Oh , that is much more than I expected. Isn't that around the same price as the 2008 Collection???

She sure is pretty, I just love the outfit too.

Dernea still goes pretty high.She was one of the club dolls for that year and so was more expensive when new.
I think Majbritt is a member here ...she owns Himstedt heaven...you need to contact her. Her gallery is awesome and most dolls from 2000 are on there...beware..they are very addictive!!!
