Just wondering how everyone else is getting on with the healthy eating?

Any one had a weigh in yet?

Pleased to say that I lost 2lb...and I didnt find it too much of a struggle for the first week, though it does help being busy. But cutting out the booze was hardest & I have had a couple of glasses over the weekend as a treat.

I think we would all do better if the weather were brighter....dull, bamp days make me crave comfort food.....Oh Abi, wish you hadnt mentioned rice pudding dollchitchat/Christo_pull_hair.gif
Now I fance a good old fashoined home made one, half cream with a nice brown cinamon & nutmeg skin on the top YUMMMMMMMMMMMM

I hopped on the scale this morning and i've lost 2 pounds.It's helped making my sugar less and fat less fruit cake.It's really yum and stops my sweet tooth from craving junk. dollchitchat/4.gif

Mine stinks.

I've been swimming 8+ miles a week since last April. I've lost only 17 pounds, because I'm putting on shoulders that would make me a football player.

So, I began using the kickboard more. That put muscles on my thighs.

I have lost several clothing sizes. But now, I've been in the same clothes since October (it is now February). I eat less food, and am getting nowhere.

Now, my days are like this: what can I look forward to? Not eating, and working myself to death during my swim. Yes, I walk, too.

Yes, I've had my thyroid checked. I eat a peanut and gain weight.

Debbie you need to eat more,if you eat less your body will hold onto whatever you eat and you'll gain instead of lose.Eating lots of small meals a day will keep your metabolism all fired up. dollchitchat/addemoticons1391.gif

Debbie Liz is right, if your body thinks it is being starved it will hold onto what it has, no matter what you do. It is better to have three good meals a day and don't snack unless it's fruit.
Our friend Jason says, (and he used to be fat as a child,) he was told by his grannie that you eat like a king at breakfast, a queen at lunch and a princess at dinner time. he did that and lost weight a lot of weight. dollchitchat/vdaybouncies3.gif
