Well done ladies...its great that we are so far into the year & you are all still going dollchitchat/141.gif dollchitchat/141.gif

Im doing ok with weight watchers & have now lost a total of 23lb...still could do with losing another stone though dollchitchat/Christo_pull_hair.gif dollchitchat/Christo_pull_hair.gif Ive had a few weeks when I have gained the odd pound, but I think it helps to get you back on track & more determined to loose better the next week!

I think we should add up how much we have lost as a group...the total would be pretty high I think dollchitchat/AddEmoticons12865.gif

Sheila so much do you weigh now???
My hubby doesn't want me too skinny either. I am 5.1 and should be about 10 stone. I weigh 13 1/2 so still have 3 1/2 to go.

We have been having our main meal in the middle of the day for a week now and have found it so much better, we don't snack any more, dinner gives us the energy until about 7pm, then we have some fruit and that's enough till breakfast. dollchitchat/141.gif

Does anyone else have dinner in the middle of the day. and if so do you find it helps to keep your weight down. dollchitchat/bigthink.gif

dollchitchat/AddEmoticons12865.gif MistyKins your baby is beautiful. dollchitchat/141.gif

a stone is 14 pounds. I have no idea of the modern weight sorry.

I used to diet like, be careful all week then eat what I wanted on Saturdays, but it didn't last long lol. But I did loose weight while I was doing it. We walk the dogs 5 times a day twice round the park now and we walk to the town and home. so it is slowly going. dollchitchat/141.gif

keep at it ladies, I can see my lap, I have a lap now. dollchitchat/141.gif dollchitchat/AddEmoticons0762.gif

I've kept all but a couple of pounds of the three stone I lost off.
Attended hospital appt. today re gallbladder removal and was told waiting list is 3 mths (better than I thought).
But he looked at me and said
"We start off with kehole and depending how hard it is because of weight we may have to convert to bigger op
dollchitchat/confused0068.gif What was he trying to say????

That's me trying extra hard for the next 3 mths!

No clotted cream teas for me this week dollchitchat/AddEmoticons07628.gif

dollchitchat/141.gif To-day I have finally reached my goal, and have got the 3 stone off dollchitchat/pompomgirl.gif cant believe I have finally done it. I feel so much better and the diabetes is well under control with the diet. Veronica I am 5.10 and weigh just 12.3 now. Hubby really doesnt like me so thin, but it was a desperate situation. It really was a wake up call when I was told back in February that I had diabetes., brought on by being overweight. We have breakfast about 8.30. Porridge with milk no sugar. Toast with tiny smidging of low fat spread and 1/2 teaspoon marmalade (Aldi) Dinner at 12.30 on a tea plate with tiny amount of sugar free jelly to follow and 1 TEA spoon of ice cream (my treat for the day) Tea time is 5pm Homemade soup (peppers sweet potato) 1 slice of homebaked wholemeal bread (comes from large Tescos Hovis Granary just add water at 38p packet. makes 2lb loaf ) brilliant. Low fat yoghurt and very small slice of Fatless homemade fruit cake recipe as on forum. At bedtime it is a very small bowl of bran flakes or 1 ryvita. occassionally a tiny beaker of Horlicks. We do lots of walking and swim at least twice a week. My 13 year old grandson is with us for the school hols, I was so excited to-day when I reached my goal and he said grandma you could have your dinner on a bigger plate now - oh if it was that simple. Hope all your diets are coming along nicely, its brilliant feeling thin, keep at it. I used to eat chocolate every evening, but it doesnt appeal to me anymore. dollchitchat/addemoticons1391.gif dollchitchat/addemoticons1391.gif dollchitchat/bearhugblinkie1.gif Sheila.

I didn't put any weight on in Cornwall. I had 2 gallbladder attacks whilst there, despite not having pasties and clotted cream teas!

But 2 days after coming home I was off again and came back yesterday from 3 days in Abersoch in Wales....this time I was with both daughters and all 5 grandchildren.
We had lovely weather and spent ages on the beach.
Since putting weight on my usual thing is to plonk myself down and say I can't keep getting up off the sand dollchitchat/AddEmoticons07625.gif but as the younger ones had fun in the sea with body boards my eldest granddaughter Bethany, who is ten, kept waving a bat and ball at me hopefully.
I had to give in didn't I?
What fun I had!
But OMG the aches and pains now. I've got muscles where I didn't know I had them!
Just goes to show it's true that once you get off your butt and exercise you actually can enjoy it!

dollchitchat/1.gif Good for you Linda, it is fun, you need to get a WII now. dollchitchat/pompomgirl.gif
Sorry about the Gallbladder attacks, I hope your feeling better. dollchitchat/pompomgirl.gif dollchitchat/bearthrowingkisses.gif

dollchitchat/dccy.png WELL DONE CHEL, thats brilliant, keep at it, we wont know each other when we go to Peterborough. Jen, thanks for your kind words, I am off on my hols tomorrow, so will have to be very good. We intend to do lots of walking and swimming in Austria with our family, so that should keep the weight off. dollchitchat/141.gif To the rest of our dieting friends - KEEP AT IT, dont end up like me with DIABETES dollchitchat/Christo_pull_hair.gif it is not worth it. EAT HEALTHILY LADIES, forget the chocolate and sugar laden foods, they are bad news. dollchitchat/addemoticons1391.gif dollchitchat/AddEmoticons12628.gif dollchitchat/bearhugblinkie1.gif ALL Sheila.
