HOw persistent are you and what's the longest you've had to wait for
a baby you were really desperate for or 'had to have'?

Will you search and wait for along time.? Or will you settle for something
else.. Or do you loose interest?

How much have you had to sacrifice? etc .
I have a memory like an elephant when it comes to wanting a 'have to have
baby... I've waited a couple years ....

it take to finally find and get that 'have to have' HTF dollY?

I waited a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time!

I waited 2 years until my gorgeous Lilli Gundi came along (thanks to Elisabeth) I never thought I'd have her, but boy was she worth the wait!! Lynette

i waited a year for a doll on layaway but worth the wait

I'm on a 9 month layway for Starrah, that's pretty long to me lol. 6 months to go! Starrah is the first doll I bought but will the the 3rd to arrive . Devon arrived this week and Riley will arrive December/January time I think, so Starrah is the longest wait so far.

I waited almost a year for BlueBelle Murielle. Well worth the wait!
Waited 5 months for Master Ned ~ 'twas hard, but he was more than worth it!

More recently, the wait for Toby goes on ~ started the purchase in January with 80% deposit. All paid up in April.................still waiting!

I am very persistent when I decide I want a certain baby. I will never give up looking for Janet's Kari. I will have to wait a couple of weeks for Hevinly Helland but it feels much longer because I want her so much

When my special secret baby comes home, it will be about a year! Trust me, it's the hardest wait I have ever had!! LOL But I know he will be worth it!!!!

I have waited since March for my Sinami Himstedt on layaway, and since June (together with Jessica whom I bought the spot from) for Toby Robertson.

The longest I have waited though is for my french bebe in my advatar who was on layaway for a very long time. She was worth a wait as IMO, she is the lovliest Bebe M I have seen. They are scarce and she is a particularly sweet and lovely one, maybe the best I've seen....

I also waited a very long time for my french fashion as well as two of my waxes. If I had not been willing to wait, I could have never been able to bring them home at all

three years I waited for my special LMS baby, and she was well worth the wait, why did I wait, I couldn't afford one, so I made up my mind to save , and I did, I never settle, I wait for the one I want,

It took me a year to get Lizzie Himstedt I had seen her when she came out in 2007 and never forgot her or Ilvi. I could not afford her but then got her almost a year later - still got to find Ilvi though at the right time.
Lizzie was worth the wait.
Usually though I will settle for second or third best though - not a good idea.

Well mine wasn't a baby doll but a BJD ^^ I've actually had traumas with pretty much every doll I have XD But the one which was the hardest to get and the longest wait is this one:-

We are probably looking at 5 years ago now I stumbled across a BJD forum and got hooked I kept seeing this doll by a company called Volks which I knew nothing about at the time. His name was Magical Micheal, I thought to myself at the time that he was probably the most camp BJD on the planet and wondered why someone would have mae it a boy rather then a girl, but still I fell in love with him completely and just had to have him.

I asked around and got all my answers but alas he was a limited eddition and had sold out months before I had ever found out about these dolls. It was very sad so I started asking where I could find one secondhad, the answer was simple no where. He just didn't come up for sale ever. I thought the people on the forum were exagurating but they weren't!

He just never came up I looked through ebay, every ebay of the world I looked through Yahoo Japan auction but he wasn't there either and every BJD forum I could find and it seemed it was hard to find someone who actually owned him let alone someone who was willing to sell him.

Then finally a few months ago (we have now moved forward in time about 4 and a half years!), there on ebay.com was Magical Micheal complete with all his originals. I almost died but I didn't have the money at all. I tried to think of what I could sell but there wasn't anything left after selling pretty much all my belongings to get my other family members. Business was slow so I knew the money wasn't going to come from there. It was like the world was against me.

But I bought him anyway and the person was absolutly lovely she gave me a layaway for as long as I needed, I was paying him off bit by bit and the waiting was killing me, it was getting close to my 22nd b-day and my mom offered to pay the rest off him for it XD Well I could have died right there and then, he was finally going to be home and mine. I didn't think he was going to arrive in time but 2 days before my birhtday I had a lovely surprise and e just turned up out of the blue I didn't have the tracking number so I had no idea where in the world he was.

I almost fainted at the door. That was the 2nd June 2008 after 4 and a half years of waiting I finall got Volks Magical Micheal and I love him more today then I did when I first saw him years before on a forum that I don't remember now ^^
