She had a set back yesterday.......
She insisted in going into the village beauty queen comp even though she is heavily scarred.I tried to talk her out of it by saying we could go out instead and that its all rigged etc but she insisted on going.At 10pm last night she came home with tears in her eyes as she didnt come anywhere.
I told her it was all a set up and they wouldnt know what beauty was if it smacked them in the face. !!! Then i changed the subject and told her we would go shopping for new make up at the weekend.I am hoping it took her mind off it all.She was real upset about not even getting a mention.She tried even though i knew some thing like that would happen.

What an amazing little girl you have, she is far, far more beautiful than those facetious and precocious girls who enter these things, i hate them for exactly the reason that happened to your darling daughter jmho.
She is a true inspiration to us all

Your wonderful daughter is a hero that's for sure - I admire her for all that she is doing - she is making a fabulous ideal to many other youngsters in a similar situation - what a sweetheart - no wonder that you are proud, my dear friend!!!!
