I know that anyone who visits this forum on any regular basis
has to know how very much I have been wanting a silicone RUby by
Marissa May.. Now I see that someone from here went over to another
doll forum tonight.. and quickly sold a silicone RUby kit...in a matter
of only a few hours.. I know this because I visited
that forum only a few hours ago.. always on the lookout for a RUBY
and it wasn't for sale. So in the couple hours I was gone she put
it up for sale and it's already sold.. She didn't even pm' or offer
it to me before she put it up for sale..There is no way she didn't know
I desperately wanted to find RUBY.

I don't mean to start trouble but this is the VENT section. .This
is doll related and very pertinent to the forum. Either we
are friends here and watch out for each other or we don't.
Thanks for letting me vent.. Most of the ladies
here are super sweet and helpful as I try to be...So I guess
that's why it particularly hurt and upset me. Hugs KAT/Maria

Poor you, but I must admit that I never look at the "I want" section, so had it been me that had her up for sale, I would not have known - things like this can easily happen, dear friend!

I am on here alot and i didnt know you was looking for a Ruby ,TBH i never read the i want section ,im sure anyone that saw it if they knew you wanted Ruby they would have let you know .

I'm sure there was no malice meant ,not everyone reads the want section.I'm sure you will get your baby soon,I will keep my fingers crossed for you

Pat and Karen- thankyou for your support.. But I didn't just put
it under the Want section.. I had it under the silicone sale section
and the swap section and talked about it on DOlly discussions etc.
You could be right.... Thanks though..I'll get over it but sometimes I wonder
if it's worth it..

Kat....I did know you were looking for Ruby, but didn't see the for sale post, sorry!

Jules-- thankyou for your sweet words and support... Oh well I am over
it now.... It was my first reaction of surprise and disappointment.. But
we have all been through it I am sure.... I'll find a 'better" Ruby

Well TBH with you those sections you have mentioned i also dont read as i dont buy on the secondary market and dont do the swap section , i think as big as DCC is members read what interests them there is some sections i never go on ie dolls houses .

Pat--- you are lucky you don't need to buy on the secondary market.
It's alright..I am too passionate and emotional.. and my illness makes
it hard for me to handle stress.. I just probably over reacted... Haven't
had a new baby in over a year.. and just fell in love with Sals' Ruby
and wanted one of my own...Then we could pway dowees' together
on the internet...

Everyone thanks for your support.. I know this is the only place
where 'grown' women could appreciate my angst and disappointment in
not finding a 'have to have' dolly.

Sorry you missed your much wanted baby Kat, I know you have mentioned her a lot and not just on the wanted section.

Well I am so sorry Kat.. BUt That was Me!!!
I simply don't have time to read the forums often due to always dollmaking, besides i just got back from holidays and have not read anything much at all so had no idea who was looking!

I only sold her becuse my camera was pinched on holiday and need a new one ...and to my suprise i had only put the ad up in 2 mins and she was snatched up
i sure hope you find her, these things take time i'm sure you will

Kat she so would not of seen you were looking for Ruby she also did not know i was looking for her to, just must not of meant to of been I know Sarah is a wonderful sweet friend who alway's does her best, she also loved Ruby as much as we do to so that would of been so hard, bit sad we both missed out,
but really would of been hard been a kit & no eye's really need one made up i think
