my baby starts senior school tomorowfirst time in 25y that i wonthave a little one in infant or junior school, and you dont get the contact with senior school parents im devasted janexx

Suddenly there is no Christmas play and nowhere near as many sports activities to go and watch, it's hard when you have done it for so long and it was only 15 years for me so I can imagine how you must feel.

its awful i cried at the last xmas play knowing it was my last one and the end of term, leaving assembly was awful loads of us cried.. they are getting the bus to school so wont even have that purpose in my life anymore i shall be lost , siwans been in senior school for 2y already but because i still took finlay to school it was just as easy to carry on and take her.. ive met lots of mums this week who cant wait for their kids to go back to school they all think im mad when i say im dreading it
i rember 2 days after my eldest katie was born 30y ago i cried thati didnot know what i would do when she started school now shes just become a mum sadley she lives in scotland so isobelle will have to go to a daty nursery as 9 hours on the train is a bit to far to babysit.. im off to meet my grandaughter on thursday janexx
