i am having a nightmare and the worst kind
i sold my himmie on ebay and the lady lived in Switzerland so it started all wrong as i had underquoted on postage but i bit my tongue and paid the extra and off she went with the courier on the 15th all was well until she reached customs at London colney and thats where she STILL is because DHL lost the customs forms well after three emails and a phone call this is the email i got from interparcel who i booked with

My colleagues have sent over invoices to get this released, unfortunately there is nothing further we can do to get this sent out any quicker.

SO THATS IT AND WHAT DO I TELL MY BUYER TALK ABOUT DROP YOU RIGHT IN IT I AM FURIOUS
i have used this company for years and sent dolls all over the world and spent a lot of money doing so but i feel like they have just thrown me to one side and are ignoring me, i sent another email asking for a phone number so i could speak directly to the customs but nothing so far
i feel like a fraud to my buyer i just hope she believes i am trying my best
this is so getting me down wheres the chocolate when you need it </span>

I had a similar issue with an item coming for me (and a buyer) from Canada to the US. It was sent expidite which usually arrives in 3-5 days from canada. It sat in customs for 3 weeks before being sent on. EXPIDITE my butt! There was nothing they could do either. neither place had records. Canada said it left the country and US said it was still in Canada. Apparently it was check off to go out, but never did...sat and sat and sat....cant help you sorry...was my answer.

They did arrive as will yours I am suire....but I am sorry you have to deal with this Marie. send the buyer this post...they will understand.

What a load of hooey!

Some lazy idiot is too stupid to process it properly. I hope whoever messed that up experiences this with a high ticket item someday - karma, baby!

I hope they process this quickly - the box is certianly big enough!!!

Not got any personal experience of posting abroad...seems you have to just keep your fingers crossed?
If your buyer's a dolly person she may have experienced this before...hope it gets resolved quickly!

forward her the email from the company with an apology. They have customs there as well she'll understand I'm sure.

Ohhh dear Marie, I didnt realise Switzerland had the customs issue!!

So sorry this has happened to you-normally DHL are FAB..just your luck it had to be an overseas one! Now sit down-take a deep breath and send the buyer a copy of the details from DHL..its NOT your fault and as ladies have said on here-if she's from Switzerland she must be aware of the problem there too.

No use STRESSING about stuff you can do nowt about-so long as you keep her informed..thats all you can do.
Bummer on the under quoting of shipping. ..eeek. ...I have done that too-and funny how they NEVER offer to help you out either!

Try to switch off-its the weekend now and Bank hols so chill and enjoy!

Oh Marie, I am sorry to hear this -it really is NOT your fault and there is NOTHING you can do about it. Sometimes these things happen, unfortunately (and YES, Shawnah, I too hope the lazy bu**er who is sitting on it will get his deserved Karma!)
I and many of us here know how quick you are with sending parcels off.
Please try not to let this affect you health, which is much more important.
