No seriously, Irene confirmed the little niggle I had that my new Jared baby could do with a bigger body

Well my Hush babys' body seems a little too big...only myself to blame as I bought the body from a seamstress on ebay...telling her the size and which sculpt it was for.
It's a very well made doe suede body...just doesn't seem right for Hush. Really I wish the artist who reborned her (no one on here) had contacted me to say it wasn't right!

To come to the point....do you think I am capable of swapping the bodies?
I've just ordered cable ties from Tinkerbelles Paypal are going to be insisting again that I am a business

I did try to tweak my mardy lip Berenguer once but my main problem was pulling the ties tight seemed to tear the material and on one occasion I ended up with a big loop after the tie was tightened...not a professional look!

I swap bodies around all the time.............wish I could change my own as easily

you need very thin scissors to cut the ties, just go gently working them round the tie till you can clip them. When you put the new tie in put head/limb in place, thread the tie through it's eyelet making sure you've got it grip side and pull slowly until you get it tight enough stay on but not so tight head or limbs can't turn at all........ this'll go down well............. hold the doll by the head and gently swing a bit to make sure it's tight enough (porcelain classes) there's nowt worse than the poor mite's head falling off mid cuddle When it's right cut the end off then clip off the little sharp end that's left right down the the head of the tie. Have you got the very tiny metal head ties, Cath's getting some soon if not, the others leave a hard lump that you can feel. Have spare ties like everything else in life it's trial and error.

I find the bodies difficult to get right sometimes, I would like less 3/4 body leg attached to Baylee makes dressing harder. I'm not sure now who makes the best bodies. I got one with Marije that's got a full leg bottom I wish they were all like that. When I look at the kit leg it looks the same as a 3/4 limb so I dont know which is right I wouldn't mind some advice there

Just one thing...when you say make sure you've got the grip side...do you mean the grip side faces out, away from the doll?
Sorry! It must be obvious to you reborners lol...I, however, couldn't make a peg doll!

if it not the right way it will just slide, I'm at work so haven't got one here I don't think(Zoe's in the boot). I could do with a pen and paper ..... when you look at the head of the tie I believe the it'll be the way it fits nea-*test*-('"), if you go the wrong way it'll look like it's going back on itself and look wrong. You should be able to see on one of your others unless the tie head has been covered over. Sorry I just want to draw it but can't
