I have already started to change the interior design of my new shop..
Here is the shop as it arrived here from Kath

I like to change the layout so here is the shop now..


I have removed walls and started to strip the paper..it was lovely but not right for my planned shops..
Yes!!!..You read it right..I am planning TWO shops..
I have saved all the skirtings and cornices as well as the beautiful fireplace which I plan on using in the flat above the shop..
Sorry Kath..it is a little different now to when it arrived..

Karen ..my plan is to have the 2 shops downstairs so yes the little room will be a small shop ..

Geja..My favourite programme is Homes under the Hammer..LOL..
Not sure what the small shop will be yet..but the larger shop is to be a Butchers and Deli..
I have a large collection of butcher items I want to display..and this shop is just perfect..

Wahay Avril you've been busy! All systems go - I knew you would do this - well done! That's just what it needed! Oh this is exciting especially for me I'm gonna really love watching all this - don't do it too fast or we might have to do another swap!

It's going to be fabulous, Avril, can't wait to see it finished!! The layout reminds me of a local shop to me which is a butchers and deli on one side and then they have a sandwich and cake shop next door, selling pies and sandwiches etc using the meat from the farmshop. I look forwards to seeing what your interpretation will be!!

Oh this is gonna be fun to watch. Makes me want to play sims2. lol.

What a great project for you Avril. Your house will make two great shops and a flat above. Can't wait to see it all turns out, keep us posted.

Sorry just went back and read the other posts - a butchers sounds brill !! - I like kathryn's idea of a pie/sandwish/cake shop next door too. Let me know how you get on with the Fimo food - I couldn't get on with it - I used a plain mat air drying clay and then painted with acrylics which soaked in and covered really well - I found the colouring easier than mixing the fimo shades to get just the one I wanted (probably just me cos other people seem to do amazing things with the fimo in the food line )
