Yep, we did the Furnicula up to the cable cars, but weren't on the right cable-car to take us over the sea, but it was fun anyway! Yep, they were holding a service when we were there too ~ paid to go in & just walked around the floor level as the queue was too long for the lifts.
We were there for an overnighter end July/early August, which was what gave us a taster for the Christmas break.
That doll shop is in Carrer de la Diutacia, between La Rambla, (our hotel, the Nh Calderon is on the Rambla & the garage with the funky Santas in the VW is under the restaurant & on the corner of that doll shop road) & leads to the Passage de Gracia......if that is clear, you deserve a

OK, she's nearly ready for the off. She enjoyed some fun on the tree. Her clothes are almost dry, she has a fine new box & some goodies for her next Foster-mum.....including a shower cap! (How could I forget THAT!!)

Oh great pics Lainey! Where was that doll shop? I didn't see it (thankfully!!) Are those Philip Heaths in the first pic? they're awesome. I went to the Segrada Familia too (we were staying nearby) It was a very windy day and bits of debris kept falling on us, it was frightening! I thought it was a rip off really, there was nothing to see inside only coke machines, there was a sevice going on but that part was cordoned off so we weren't able to participate. It is fantastic from outside though!! Did you go up tibidabo (excuse spelling) on the funicular?it was amazing!! We had to go by bus to the terminal as the trams weren't running that day. We had a jug of sangria then went up to the summit wow!! You must have gone to La Rambla too, it was very lively at the weekend but a bit quieter on Monday, the lights were fantastic too, oh I want to go back there asap.
