As most of you know I havnt been around much lately as my pc has been breaking down. Its been in for repair because it freezes and wont respond to some orders.
NOW I FIND I CANT TRANSFER MY PICTURES FROM PHOTOBUCKET ONTO DCC. I have been doing it the same way for over a year now it wont let me and a sign sayng ..... you must enter a U R L keeps comming up when I try. PLEASE can someone tell me whats wrong, and what is a url and why do I need it now. I feel so cut off from the dolly world at the moment I never know if Im going to be able to log on. Thank you. When you want to post a pic here all you do is left click on the line of code which starts with IMG then right click paste or on your keyboard ctrl v wherever you want to post it.
Sylvia is better at explaining this stuff than me.

Liz I know, thats how you told me to do it almost a year ago, and thats how I have been doing it ever since BUT NOW IT WONT LET ME........ I just dont understand why.

Sounds like whoever fixed your pc changed some settings.
Is photobucket asking for the URL or DCC?

Its DCC blocking it LIZ. When I press img a box comes up that says you must enter a URL and its never done that before.

It does sound like the person who fixed it changed your settings so i suggest speaking to them.
Also go to our -*test*-('") area and instead of copying the IMG code copy the HTML code instead and see what happens.See if a pic appears when you click preview post.
I've been -*test*-('")ing out my photobucket album with no problems at all.

I maybe wrong here but i think its something to do with activeX does a message come click here to temporaily allow scripted windows.
Try just pasteing the img tag from photobucket instead of using the image tag on DCC

Thanks Liz I will go and try that now, the repair man told us all he had done was run checks for viruses ect, so he wouldnt have had to alter the settings would he ... you know me I dont understand pcs and now I HATE THEM TOO. XXX

I always paste the IMG code straight from photobucket,i find it the best way.
Gail he would have changed settings because he would have checked everything.

Ive been on the -*test*-('")ing section and done it the HTML way and it still comes up as ERROR. Im begining to wonder if its the new HUB set from BT thats causeing the problem as my home page where the email go is different, now I have jst been shouting at Philip because he set up the new hub. Im going to log off now my head is spinning and I feel so stressed.

I'd phone the person who fixed it and get them to come over and talk you through some things and he should then be able to see the problem.
I've been yelling to my husband about pcs as well,i gave up and ate a big slice of chocolate cake with flake and cream.

that's strange I find photobucket easier than before........... I left click on the bottom one under the picture on PB and its comes up with copied then I go into DCC or whatever I need to be in and copy and paste right clicks.............I'm a with PC's as well
