Thank you so much for all your lovely get well messages and thoughts it really means alot .

Well I have come home without him he is still in and they are unsure what is causing it , he still hasn't developed the runs or sickness so a gastric bug seems out , it could be a grumbling appendix and they have also mentioned the possibility of kidney stones ?? he did mention he had backache in the week and I have looked up symptoms and all that and that sounds very likely so think they may want to scan him soon and see if that is the problem .

So I am home with the kids on my own , have only told the eldest and told the little ones he is away with a friend for the night , I don't want to worry them unnnecesarily .

Am hoping he will be well enough to be home tommorrow but just waiting to hear now , i don't drive and we are 15 miles from the hospital so it's not like i can just nip and see him , very frustrating .

O' just seen your posting about your hubby, what a shock for you and your family, I hope he getts beeter soon and the hospital find out whats wrong with him.
My Uncle went in with a pain like that they found gouldstones.

Catherine I have just had my gallbladder out due to gallstones.

The symptoms are horrendous pain (on me it was just under my right boob...so the same area on a man) sickness and wind can accompany the pain and it can last hours.

Hope it isn't anything serious...could be a pulled muscle?

I hope he's ok soon..................... tell him it's bit OTT if it's just so he doesn't have to take you to the doll show a simple no would have been ok seriously though I hope he feels better soon. My brother has had loads of pain like that they keep a check on him for kidney stones, he's had small ones that have passed. Take care

Oh bless-how awful for you-having the hospital 15 miles away and not being able to drive either! Such a worry!

I hope they find out whats wrong and something can be sorted for him asap..then he can recover at home.

It does sound alot like kidney stones, but I am NOT a odctor! Hope he is feeling better soon. nasty stuff!
