Marie I am just ...my mind is a blank I can't remember how short I am, any way I think it's 4 ft and an inch. and I weigh 14 stone. supposed to be losing weight and keeping off the chocolates cakes ect but hubby keeps buying them, but I do notice when I say No thank you he stops buying as many when I say yes please he buys more. Can you see this is going to be easy, I just say No thank you more well every time. I do get out more now I have the pushchair to take my babies out in. So Marie I am with you and elijahfan
(Elijahfan) is there something shorter we an call you???) Lets do it together and come back here every other week to see how we are doing. remember it's as much a state of mind as it is a state of what's on your plate. Think thin. Think I wanna look like Caron does in a pair of jeans. dollchitchat/141.gif dollchitchat/141.gif

good...Veronica...now YOU need glasses! tell you how i keep to my weight. If my clothes fit ok then i am fine.If they start to feel tight ...i have to lay off the chockie..cream cakes..chinese ....etc etc.
I NEVER use scales. They just end up making you feel depressed and having a complex!
Chuck them out..do your work out...watch what you eat and .......be thorouhly miserable for the next few months!

Me.....i stay fit...(oh yes i do!) i am Very active....(stop laughing) .....and if i gave up everthing they say is bad for me...well life wouldnt be worth living...SO SHOOT ME NOW!

I have just started a healthy eating plan this past week I will be getting weighed in the morning after my first week dollchitchat/TFR112.gif I have heart problems and like you Kayjay suffer from chronic fibromyalgia so also can't exercise dollchitchat/addemoticons558.gif but with buying my little pram to hold onto I have started having a short walk each day haven't got very far yet but need to build up gently as not being able to walk very far for a long time dollchitchat/addemoticons558.gif so I love the idea of having a thread for this to help each other along dollchitchat/Love-Bear.gif

I'm just under 5'5" and at my heaviest, some while ago now admittedly, I hit 15 stone and was appalled ~ but kept eating the coffee cake!

In July, I decided I could no longer afford to run a car and got a bicycle, so now I cycle everywhere. I also started work again after 6 years of stay-at-home-motherhood, and that stopped me picking at cakes and biscuits all day. Without trying too hard I have lost over a stone and a half since July and feel like a different woman.

I don't have any magical tips for foolproof weight loss to share but eating less and doing more has worked for me...I would love to share support with this though, because my messy divorce keeps making me want to eat, eat, eat and then eat some more....
