Yesterday i dropped my Dior foundation compact down the toilet,can't use that again.Today Mike deleted most of my pics i just took of Tetti.
So wonder what the third thing will be tomorrow!

know the feeling Liz... apart from its my life thats going wrong!

I've had SO many terrible things happen over the past year that I am genuinely surprised when something goes right.

I can definitely empathize with you both!!

They say things come in threes but im not sure.In my life the three wrong things come in catagories.....

Illness....... HUbby had a spinal operation in Feb,My Dad had a heartbypass in May and my friend is recovering after having -*test*-('")icular cancer. !!!!

Broken things......First my tumble drier,then the car and now the hoover. !!!!!

Pet deaths....... First my beloved rat Ernie passed away and then i lost another,Missy.Then a few weeks ago i lost Kiska my snowy owl.

Bills.........Huge phone bill,car repairs and then a miriad of vets bills.

I can deffinately sympathise with all of you who have had bad things happen this year.Lets hope next year is a better one.

Oh, I know exactly where you're coming from! We've had three years of constant problems, and just when we dare to think all's clear, someone else pulls that rug from under us AGAIN! Plus almost everyone I know says the same thing, so what is going on? Must be something in the planets, that's what I say!!
So - to lift your mood today, what will you do? I'm going to walk the dogs in the park and enjoy the sunny Autumn day, then take some pics of my dolls. Oh, and buy myself a small(ish) bar of chocaloate

Ok the third thing has happened.I went to put the new tablecloth on the dining table and it's too small.Got to go and spend some more money on another one now,D'oh!

Oh Liz...I hate days like this....
My granddad always said 'it always comes in 3's!!!'
Now the 3rd thing has happend...you can relax...take a deep breath and say...thank gosh thats over!!!...

I can definitely sympathize with you. A number of things have gone wrong for us this year, but the three that stick out the most was in January.On Sunday the 20th I got my car bumped in a Morrisons car park (luckily he admitted it),on the 23rd I was attacked at work by a resident and then the following day I found my new leather settee to have some colour transference. Also we found out that after all the work we had done to the house we had to have it rewired(sorry that is number 4),which was so annoying as we had nearly got it to how we wanted it.There have been a few more minor things go wrong,but can't remember them all.
Anyway hopefully now we have all had our bad luck for the year and things can only get better,we hope.

I'm beginning the think the tablecloth bit was part 1 of 2 because we went to Homebase bought our bits and bobs only to find out next Friday is 10% off day.
I hope our hallway will be finished before then!

I too can totally relate. Bad things always seem to come together. Chin up, Liz, and be sure that there are only nice things around the next corner.

This superstition is linked with the Trinity - even Shakespeare had things happen in 3's in many of his plays and many religious paintings are painted with items and shapes grouped in threes or forming a triangular shape.

Of course it doesn't always happen that way! My mother believes in that once you hear of a death - you will hear of 2 more very soon. That didn't work out one year when I got up to 5!

Oh....then my mother said that really it was 'three and you should count the other 2 as separate"
