Please could you say a prayer for old Sid.

Yesterday morning old Sid took ill.Hes had cancer for many years now and its been incurable.He took a turn for the worse and the doctor was called.Then the ambulance turned up and then they took him off to hospital in the Cornwall Air Ambulance.We got word yesterday that at 3.30pm Sid had passed away.One of his many tumours had burst.

He isnt a relative of mine but he was a lovely old gentleman who lived 3 doors up from us.We have had many a chat over the gate or walking the dogs.He never had a bad word to say about anyone.He fought cancer for many years and never once complained.He was always there with a smile and a joke no matter what.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family who he has left behind.He will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
May God keep him safe.RIP Sid.

Thank you ladies for your kind words.

He may not of been a member of my family but he was a long standing member of the village in where we live and was much loved and respected by all.

His funeral is either on Monday or Tuesday next week.I am not too sure when.I know the church will be packed to the rafters to give him a good send off though.

Three ladies replied and thats all.

Its Sids funeral on Tuesday at 2pm.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sid. I live in a small village and there is always someone 'special' who brightens up your day just by seeing them. It sounds like Sid was this kind of special person. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten ,by many I'm sure. Bless you all.
