Hi I have just finished this little baby for the forecoming show im holding in November I decided to try painted hair on her as shes such a newborn sculpt felt it would suit her .I LIKE IT.. BUT WANTED YOUR IN PUT TO WHEATHER YOU THINK SHE WILL SELL OR SHOULD I GIVE HER SOME HAIR ? .what do you think ?

maybe you could try rooted and painted? I think that looks really effective..
It depends on what people want really.. I personally would go for rooted because I can style it, stroke it etc..
But others prefer rooted as it cant be 'messed up'..

As a reborner i think her beautiful head shape looks great with painted hair, i would love to try painting hair on my reborns but like you i am not sure if they sell well, i have seen a painted and rooted head which looks very effective.

she is gorgeous but i prefer rooted hair i always think painted on hair looks dolly no offence to anyone just my own personal taste .

Shes lovely, but I dont like the painted hair...to me the real feeling/looking rooted hair is all part of the whole reborn baby.

I have also seen a few that are part painted & part rooted, but think it takes a lot of skill to pull that off too...

I would love to see irl to see if I like her as much as I do her pics. I'm never that keen on rooted hair, as to me, it never looks totally newborn, no matter how good the rooting is and I think painted is gorgeous for newborns. However that is only on pics, and I have no idea if I'd like it irl. Most people seem to prefer rooted hair, I guess you could try her for sale, and offer to root it if someone prefers that.

I love the painted hair as I had a couple of Heidi Ott dolls which looked fantastic Yes, I think it looks beautiful. Love, Margaret.

Thankyou everyone for your input ive decided im going to leave her as she is for the doll show ,as everyone can judge for them selfs when they see her ..and it will be nice to offer some different choices as many do love the painted on hair ..I myself love it since i got my little wonder of Tina with painted hair i was hooked
its funny because i put same post over on dollfan and all of the ladies there love her as she is ...yet all the ladies here said they prefer hair ..

sorry rooted or bald but not painted. I've not see the combination of rooted and painted so can't say yea or nay to that yet.

I think you have done a lovely job of painting her hair but I prefer rooted as I think it is more realistic and less 'dolly'. It is just my personal preference & I think she is a lovely sculpt
