We - Anneke and I - have just booked a double room (twin room) at Holiday Inn West for two nights at the total price of £ 200, which means £ 100 per night.

Yes Jackie the show is at the Thorpe Wood. I stay at the other one which is Express by Holiday Inn East of England Way and its not far from Thorpe Wood the rooms are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them both times they have been great with us as we have to make sure we have oxygen arrived for DH they can't do enough for us.There is a Harvester Pub next door which does beautiful meals. The rooms are around £45-£55 dollchitchat/Love-Bear.gif

We will be staying there too Jeanette next year,

Oh Dianne that will be great having someone else staying there its a nice clean and bright hotel and the Harvester pub next door does great meals dollchitchat/smilie_bauch.gif

I'm really looking forward to it Jeanette,Clare is coming too along with a few other reborn artists that you probably already know,it will be lovely to meet you at last too dollchitchat/sgiveheart.gif

Oh and I can't come in the summer!! That is so sad!

Jeanette, the Harvester turned into an other one, we have been there and it has been yummy!

Anneke, it takes 1,5 hours from Stansted airport to Peterborough by train and the station is downstairs at the airport, you won't miss it! You can buy the tickets there with no problem, you need to buy saver return tickets, they are cheaper. You can take any train and there is one every hour!

I know you all will have a lot of fun, like hubby and I had last month!

The doll show this year was at Thorpe Wood Peterborough, Holiday Inn, Sheila and I stayed there last time and the room was £61 per night for the 2 of us, its cheaper sharing a room.
Look forward to the next one in summer.

We are sharing a room, Anneke and I, but we will have to pay £ 100 per night with breakfast included - maybe it is more expensive because it is summer prices, who knows!

Aw, I'd quite like to go really, but it's quite expensive on the train (nearly £50), and the only other way would be my Mum driving me, which is doubtful. I think I'll have to wait 'til next year when I'll hopefully be driving dollchitchat/striste.gif

OH I WOULD LOVE TO GO TO A DOLL SHOW, I HAVEN'T BEEN TO ONE IN YEARS AND I REALLY MISS THEM, WOULD THEY HAVE LOTS OF REBORNS AND OOAK'S?
