I bought a doll from a friend, she is a cutie but her hair is rooted horrible. (from the doll hehehehe) biggrin.gif
do you think I can pull the hair out of her head and root her all over again.

Yes, I've done it a few times! You have to make sure you remove all the old hair and then you can start again. I think what I did last time was filled the head with boiling water and let it sit for a few minutes to soften the glue holding the hair in place and then pulled from the outside and used a wooden spoon to remove it from inside. If I remember correctly you can also soften the glue and then add some plastic pellets of the sort used for filling, let them set and then scrape those off..the idea being that the hair gets pulled out with them.

If the holes are very noticable put the head in a pan of boiling water to soften the vinyl and encourage the holes to close - keep it away from the sides of the pan...then dunk it in ice cold water. This works with vinyl and silicone/vinyl..wouldn't try it on anything else!
Good luck! It takes time but will be worth it! If there still are any holes visible they will be hidden by your new rooting or you can try to root in them.
