Hi Everyone!

After seeing Miriam's lovely photos of her Katrins hair, I decided to do a posting requesting everyone to post pics of your dolls with "new" hair. It can be braids, crimps, bows, barrettes, whatever, even if it is only a slight change from the original, I would love to see the changes you have made.

Also, what do you guys think would look good on Nella, I would love to do her hair like Katrin's but I think that one is too complicated for me.

Here is what I have done with Lihle's hair and Mera's hair, not huge changes, just subtle ones.

I rebraided both my Kumari and Kimi's hair, but I think you are looking for more original ideas!

I plan on playing tonight but don't really do anything too creative. Sorry.

I love these pictures but am very hair challenged ( you oughta see mine.!) so don't really do elaborate styles at all love to see everyone els's though.
I think the biggest change I have ever made is with Mirte as she came to me with the crimps falling out and the hair was dusty so I washed it and cut her a fringe - I still love her like this pink eyes and all. No she is not going back to the factory for an eye change before someone suggests it .!! I kinda like her pink!!

Deb, your Mirte looks way better without the crimps! And I like her eyes too! I never realized how pretty she is until I just looked at your pictures! I have seen her in the magazines and catalogs before but yours looks alot better than those pictures to me. Thanks for sharing and I would love to see more pictures of her sometime when you get the chance!

Jeannie, you have had fun playing with your girls hair! I really liked Tippi with the pigtails! She looks perfect like that!!

Thanks you guys.......here is Nella's new hairdo, I put it in another listing this morning too but I thought it might appy here too. I have to give credit for this hairdo to Miriam though, I copied what she did with Katrins hair and I just love it!! Mine isn't nearly as good as hers but I love this style on Nella.

Ooh Donna, I love your Nella's hair!! It is so shiny and thick and looks to be in gorgeous condition!! The plaits are FUN!!!

Miriam, you really have a special touch doing your dollies hair, they all look fab!!
Are you a hairdresser by trade or just gifted?? I would love to send my whole collection to you and have you do their hair!! LOL

How do you wash the hair (for Monja)?? Do you have to take the wig off?? Or anyone else who knows how to wash the hair please post? (Monja still isn't here but she surely will come next week!)

We should do a hair con-*test*-('") in January since there won't be any new dolls to look forward to, we can make our own new dolls by changing their hair!! That would be fun!!

I am not a hairdresser but I like to do hairstyles.
I did not to take the wig off. I washed her hair with shampoo and I dried it with a dryer.

I'm pretty hair challenged....but....

Here's Bunda. I was trying to copy Miriam's Bunda but couldn't get it to look nice high up, so here's what I ended up with:

I guess I've done more than I thought.

Here is my Tivi with a new hair style. I havnt cut it just straigthened and then tied 2 little knots either side and put afew hair accessories in.
