I took the time to take pics of my Aruana today and I remembered why I love Himstedts again. There is something that an "old friend" can give that a new one cannot - great memories.

I hope your girl comes home soon, Marlene! I actually like that you posted the original girl with the original braids, because I totally braid it differently each time I restyle Aruana's hair.

Her hair is FABULOUS to play with! So is Kumari's, actually. But I won't redo Kumari's again!!!

I love the real sitters and I love the jointed dolls too. I have quite a few sitters but not many pictures of their leg ends.! I do have these of Aruana, Amanda ,Mirte and Puttel.
I love these new pictures of Aruana she is a beautiful girl and you managed to get the braids back in! Strange how she was not so popular in her day (2005) but seems to have gained more in popularity now.

Thank you all for sharing them with us. .the only sitter I have now is Jules. .sadly the bigger girls DO take up room ..so Ive always opted for the standing girls!

I suppose that yes the sitting dolls take up a bit more room, but then they don't need a stand which is a HUGE bonus, I think!
