Hi all,

I don't visit this section very often at all, but just felt the need tonight to ask if you would pray for my good friend Betty who is seriously ill in hospital following a cerbral hemorrage on Monday.

I met Betty a few years ago when we got our rescued greyhounds. She also has two greyhounds which are her life and are sadly missing their mum very much, even though a neighbour is feeding and walking them.

I pray that Betty will make a full and speedy recovery and be back walking her beloved dogs very soon.

I will keep her in my prayers and hope she gets well soon,

My dear friend, I shall pray for your good friend Betty and send her all my best wishes and loving thoughts!!!!! I hope that she will recover in full, I did after I had a burst aneurism 17 years ago, so miracles CAN happen, my dear friend!!!!

How sad for everyone.... greyhounds are lovely animals and have a very deep bond with their owner, so they must really be upset. My heart goes out to you all, especially to your friend because she must be so missing her dogs. Wish her better for you and sending prayers

Aww Marg, I know we spoke about this terrible sad thing that has happened to your good friend.. .Im sending you both GENTLE HUGS and will pray she makes a good recovery -her poor dogs too must be soo confused as to where she is!

Thank-you soo much everyone- it really means a lot to know that you care!

Betty is improving! She is still in intensive care and not out of the woods yet, but apparently she knows where she is and who is there, and she is trying to speak even though she can't very well because of tubes and things.

I haven't seen her yet as she is only allowed visits from family, but I have been sending her my love.

Max and Ruby the greyhounds are ok. They are being well cared for by neighbours, but they are still missing their mum, obviously. It appears they have settled down somewhat.

Please would you continue to keep Betty in your prayers and hope for a full recovery. Thank-you!
