please could you lovely ladies keep my Granny in your thoughts, she went to hospital yesterday, as she kept loosing her balance and things, they thought it was because she had not been taking her blood pressure tablets, or she had been taking too many (her memory hasnt been good, and she gets confused).. she was given antibiotics and treated for an ear infection (which explains the balance thing)..

today i mum and i came home to find a note from my dad saying hes gone over to the mainland, as my Gran had an accident at home, dont know what, but sounds bad..

we havent heard anything since, and we gather they're still at the hospital because all of their mobiles are off..
we're just hoping shes ok, when my uncle jack (great uncle) was passing, the morning of his death my mum said to my dad, i think you should ring jack.. so he was planning to that day, only he didnt get the chance (he passed away in the late morning)
my mum said to my dad yesterday morning, dont you think you ought to give youre mum a ring, so he planned to later, only my auntie text my mum and explained..
i hope this isnt some sort of 'sign'.. shes not that old.. :(

please keep her in your prayers.. xx

we've heard from my dad what happened- she fell down the stairs (we dont know how yet) and when my auntie went round this morning she couldnt get through the door, my Gran was lying unconscious (sp?) infront of it..
my auntie got in somehow and found her.. she is still unconscious in the hospital, and they are full up so she has not been moved to anywhere yet.. my cousin was going to see her, and my auntie dont be suprised, she doesnt look much like our gran at the moment, shes all battered and bruised.. shes squeezing people's hands, so thats a slight good sign.. thanks for your prayers girls.. xx

Aw Beccy your poor Granny....will say a prayer for her and all the family. It's good she's squeezing hands. Poor love must feel knocked about. Hope she feels better soon.

Becky sorry to hear about your nans accident and I hope you get some news soon. I think the fact that she is squeezing the hands is a good sign so try not to worry love. I know its easy to say I have had my own nan in hospital the last few weeks and at times we thought she wouldnt come home but they are very resilient our nans and Im sure she will be fine. I think she will be quite shocked from such a nasty fall thank goodness your auntie found her like that and she got to hospital quickly. She is in the best place now and Im sure she will look better when the bruising has settled down. It must have been a scarry ordeal for her, bless her. Sending her and you a big and XXXXX

thank you Gail, my dads now home, and since got a phone call.. its touch and go really, 50/50, and they said to prepare for the worst, and if theres any friends and family, to go up and see her.. :( they think she fell at night, so she would have been lying there all night.. my dad didnt even recognise her..
i just hope theres good news tomorrow.. if theres no change i will probably go over and see her.. thank ladies for all your kind words and wishes.. xx

my dad had another call last night, and its 50/50 :(
not looking good.. i think i might go over tomorrow as ive not got any lessons at school, or thursday..
im not sure whether to go to the hospital or not.. i dont know what to expect..
if i go over then ill probably be with my cousins for a bit.. i havent seen my granny in a while, so i think i ought to go and see her..
