Some of you may remember that I have been looking for a traditional style red woolen coat for Tetti.

Some time ago I bought a wonderful black velvet hat & bag for Tettit & had been thinking that the set would look so nice with one of these old fashioned red coats...

I could beleive my eyes when I found exactly what I have looking for in TKMAXX the other day.

Even better it is a set with a matching dress & hat too!

Hete she is, first with the velvet hat & bag set:

And a photo of of all three os my big kids, Lilli has her pretty Sarah Louise black & white dress (idea stolen from another member showing her Himmie in a black & white dress) also from TKMAXX...sadly poor old Simon is still in the same clothes I really must go shopping for him too!

I love that coat!!! If I had a daughter I'm sure she'd be a tomboy, but I would love to dress her up in clothes like that!!

I have heard of some velvet staining, but only years ago. Other collectors who redress will know more than me. I am only mentioning it because I would feel horrible if something happened and I didn't say anything.

I Tetti in red...it suits her so well!

Kathryn, Simon is 41" tall, so seems to take about age 5 in trousers, but has a weedy chest so only needs about age 2-3 yrs in tops, although with sleeved tops the arms are never long enough, so I have to get bigger & then the neck sometimes gapes

Shawnah, thanks for that...the velvet trims on the coat are only on the outside, so dont actually touch the skin, though I will bear that in mind as I had not heard that before There is so much to worry about with these Himmies
