For some it will have no effect but for others you might not be able to reply to posts etc.
The only way at the moment is to either make a Waiting Room thread in New Arrivals and a mod can move it to the Waiting Room and you can subscribe to the thread so you can post on it or if you want to reply to other peoples threads then click on their name so that their profile comes up then click on Find All Posts By This Member.
You can reply to their threads this way.Along way round i know.
