All is quiet as the kids pack away the dominoes



Billy: It was really good today. Thierry let us see his sword!



Mai: He did what?!
Imogen: Pardon!



Billy: Yes. We had to sit down on the chair and watch.
Kira: Yes.Thierry said we were not allowed to touch it ever!
*Mai and Imogen both heave a sigh of relief together! *



Kira: Thierry said you have to really respect a weapon before you can even touch it.
Billy: Thierry said you have to train with wooden swords before you can touch a real one.



Mai: ~smiling~ And what else did Thierry say?
Billy: Thierry said –that if he ever caught us touching his sword he would put us across his knee and smack us so hard that we wouldn’t be able to sit down for a week…
Kira: With a brush. He meant it too. Thierry said…



Knock! Knock!



Billy and Kira: We’ll get it. We invited Ben to come and play-it might be him.



Mai: What fun! I wonder what Thierry said about ……
Billy: *calls from the Hall* Imogen! You won’t believe this.



Imogen: What is it?

Imogen: *squeals* Barney!!!



Imogen: You are in England! I can’t believe it! *hugs*

A short time later……..



Barney: Well-I am so glad that you like surprises!
Imogen: *just too happy to speak*


We are all delighted to hear about Thierry’s responsible approach to having a sword in the house and he certainly has made the correct impression with the kids. He apparently showed them the brush too!

Great story, I just love all the details in your set too!! So do the older ones know about Thierry then? Or do they think he's an imaginary friend? It's good that he taught them how to handle weapons safely.

So, yes they do know about Thierry and are happy to have him living with them
They were just a tad worried at the beginning of this story that Thierry had been irresponsible about his sword

And yes, Lynette does wonderful face-ups for my gang
