Val. are you in the UK? I am an RN in the USA, I wonder what pills they placed him on? is it nitrogycerin, or is it something for arrhythmias? I think you need to push the doctors for a bypass, pills do not dissolve the blockage in the arteries! People do wonderfully after bypass surgery! Make sure he does not do anything straining! And keep an eye out for any signs like lightheadedness, sweats or shortness of breath. from his headache symptoms it sounds as if it is nitrogycerin he is taking.
