Well I had my steroid injection into the knee joint this morning, not very nice but not as painfull as I had expected it would be ( hope she did it right) and I have rested on the bed for a few hours like they said. Cant say the pain is worse or better at this stage so I will just have to wait and see. As long as I can walk round at Peterborough that will do for me anything else is just a bonus. xxxx

Thank you everybody, its hurting quite a bit at the moment I came here to take my mind of it till I can have an early night, its a bit early to go yet and my painkillers are due at 10pm.xxxxx

Well done for getting it done-it takes abit of time to kick in-but ONCE it does...trust me ive had three done now over a long time..the pain relief is amazing!!

Hope it works for you Gail, they are very painful, I had four in my elbow for tennis elbow a few years ago, one time I actually cried, felt a real fool lol. I have to have one in my foot soon as I have athritis from my foot surgery, not looking forward to that one bit. I hope you recover soon x x x
